The large main compartment offers enough space for food while a drinking bottle can be safely stowed in the extra compartment on the side. Pencils can easily be stowed in the inside zippered compartment. The straps are wide and padded and individually adjustable to the size of the child which make it comfortable to wear; the chest strap ensures additional stability.
